Job summary

Turkey Hill Minit Markets in Kulpmont, PA is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and train a busy store team while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will partner with the Store Manager to coach staff, manage scheduling, supervise daily operations, promote company values, ensure 100% in-stock goals, uphold safety standards, and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment during second shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Minimum experience: 1 year retail or food experience; must complete Assistant Manager Training program.
• Preferred: 1-2 years in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role.
• ServSafe / Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coach guest service behaviors and ensure staff greet guests warmly and resolve issues.
• Support Store Manager in training, scheduling, coaching, and upholding company values.
• Partner with Store Manager to achieve promotions, sales targets, and inventory controls.
• Maintain store appearance, ensure coffee station and food service areas are clean and stocked.
• Monitor stock levels and keep in-stock at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or in SM's absence.
