Job summary

GameStop is looking for a Store Manager to oversee all facets of store operations and drive a sales-focused, guest-centric culture. The role emphasizes training and development of a retail team, merchandising, and ensuring excellent guest service while adhering to company policies.

The Store Manager will lead a staff, manage onboarding and scheduling, supervise payroll, and ensure Omni-Channel fulfillment and inventory accuracy to meet sales and profit goals.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma required; business/marketing degree preferred.
• Retail management experience is required; additional leadership experience is a plus.
• Video game knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in a multiunit capacity and drive sales goals.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service, greeting guests and addressing questions promptly.
• Promote loyalty programs and special promotions to grow guest loyalty.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop store associates.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance before opening or closing shifts.
• Schedule staff, manage payroll and time off, and monitor staffing levels.
• Maintain clean, organized store, proper merchandising, and equipment upkeep.
• Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily and ensure accurate inventory control.
