Job summary

Carter's in Wayne, New Jersey seeks a Store Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will coach your team, lead the Leader on Duty program, and ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment while driving sales and brand knowledge.

You will recruit and develop leaders, manage merchandising, payroll and budgets, analyze KPIs, and deliver exceptional customer service, connecting in-store and online shopping with omnichannel tools.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of retail or related management experience leading direct reports.
A high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting; develop succession plans by training and developing your team.
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment for employees to collaborate and recognize performance to increase employee engagement.
Lead the Leader on Duty program and direct merchandising and operations; manage payroll and budgets.
Understand and analyze KPIs and identify behaviors to drive results; drive omnichannel integration on the sales floor.
