Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a General Manager to lead a fast-paced store, oversee up to 45 employees, and drive profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will recruit, train, mentor, and coach team members, manage scheduling and payroll, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven decision making, and strong guest focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail, food service, or restaurant management experience (high-volume preferred).
• Must obtain and maintain Manager Food Handler certification (and alcohol server permit, if required).

Responsibilities

• Foster a guest-obsessed culture; ensure every guest interaction is exceptional.
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members for growth opportunities.
• Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and performance management.
• Create a positive and engaging work environment where team members feel valued.
• Execute operational plans to meet sales, labor, and profitability goals.
• Analyze sales, margin, and labor reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and direct scheduling and payroll to ensure proper staffing levels.
