Job summary

Hibbett, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Waynesville, NC to lead store sales and supervise day-to-day operations. You will coach a team of sales associates, managers in training, and other staff to meet targets and uphold company standards.

You will analyze store performance, manage payroll, and coordinate with the District Sales Manager to execute marketing and loss-prevention initiatives. Excellent customer service and brand representation are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in retail, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a sales team.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience; 3+ years in management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Analytical with solid business sense; multitask effectively.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and achieve sales goals in all departments.
• Direct store operations, training, and mentoring of staff.
• Monitor sales statistics, inventory, and expenses to maximize profit.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager to enforce policies and goals.
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate personnel; manage payroll and scheduling.
• Ensure store security and work with Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
• Lead inventory movement planning and participation in marketing plans.
• Provide extraordinary customer service and promote merchandise.
