Job summary

Boot Barn in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop a high-performing team, and uphold our customer service standards across merchandising, operations, and events.

You'll coach associates, manage schedules, support hiring, and ensure inventory, shrink, and presentation guidelines are followed while delivering the Boot Barn experience to customers and the local community.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2–4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition of excellence on the sales floor.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs and schedules; assist with interviewing and hiring.
• Train operational staff on new policies and ensure proper inventory and signing presentation.
• Maintain product knowledge across categories and drive engagement through store events.
