Job Summary

The Store Leader is responsible for the daily operations of their assigned store and the management of employees. Duties include interviewing, selecting, training employees; setting and adjusting employee pay and hours; directing employee work; appraising productivity and efficiency for promotions or changes; disciplining employees; planning work; and determining materials and supplies needed for retail and food locations.

Job Description

  • Experience Required: 3 to 5 years
  • Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
  • Age Requirement: At least 21 years of age

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform key duties such as interviewing, selecting, training, directing, appraising, and disciplining team members.
  • Manage store operations, including overseeing food service (if applicable), customer service, inventory, and safety.
  • Complete daily reports, manage inventory and shrink, and handle financial transactions like deposits and change orders.
  • Hire, train, coach, and discipline store personnel; plan work schedules and verify hours worked.
  • Supervise employees and shifts, ensuring policy compliance and safety standards.
  • Merchandise the store according to company guidelines, execute marketing promotions, and manage pricing and mystery shop standards.
  • Manage labor budgets, adjust employee hours and pay, and ensure fuel pricing compliance.
