Job summary

GameStop Corp. seeks a Store Manager to oversee all facets of store operations and drive the sales culture through guest-focused service and knowledge sharing. You will lead a team, manage inventories, and ensure an engaging, well-organized shopping environment that fosters guest loyalty.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, onboarding, negotiating promotions, and meeting sales and profit goals while maintaining compliance and safety standards across the store network.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service: promptly greet guests; respond to guest questions/concerns quickly, effectively, and courteously; assist guests with meeting their video gaming needs; inform guests of special promotions; recommend additional items as appropriate.
• Support the total shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and the guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business.
• Promote Omni‑Channel orders are fulfilled and shipped daily.
• Recruit, interview, hire, assess, develop, and retain high-performing associates.
• Lead store team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative and operational duties necessary to goal achievement.
