GameStop is seeking a Store Manager who will lead a store team and drive exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee sales, operations, and staffing while promoting loyalty programs and promotions.

The role requires strong leadership, training, and adherence to policies to maximize profitability. The position focuses on achieving sales goals, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring accurate POS transactions and daily closings.

Responsibilities

• The Store Manager will manage and lead in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions quickly and courteously, assist with video gaming needs, promote promotions, and thank guests.
• Support the shopping environment, visual and operational elements, sales initiatives, and guest relationships leading to sales and repeat business.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS accurately and deliver top-notch guest service.
• Promote GameStop’s guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Recruit, interview, hire, develop, and retain high-performing associates.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance before opening/closing shifts and educate on policies, inventory, loss prevention, and ethics.
• Communicate with store staff and District Manager to implement initiatives; set guest service expectations and train staff accordingly.
• Schedule associates, manage breaks, supervise staffing, and maintain optimal guest service levels.
• Approve payroll and time off, provide feedback, and document performance in HR systems.
• Keep store clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines; ensure fixtures and equipment work.
• Oversee Omni-Channel orders fulfillment and daily shipping; manage store inventory and replenishment.
• Protect assets through inventory controls and loss prevention practices; inspect packages at closing as needed.
• Lead the team to meet or exceed sales, profit, and shrink goals; complete administrative duties.
• Count, balance, and reconcile daily transaction totals in the POS system and finalize closeout paperwork.
