Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to develop associates and leaders to meet goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience using KPIs and data to drive decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and influence store performance.
• Proven track record in customer experience, sales growth, and talent development.
• Experience managing competing priorities and leading through change.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates to deliver best-in-class customer service.
• Lead teams in merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans from Associate Insight survey results.
• Identify store opportunities and create timely solutions.
• Model inclusive leadership and coach staff accordingly.
• Oversee store operations in manager's absence.
• Drive sales and control costs to meet budgets and targets.
• Collaborate with department managers to maximize profits and reduce shrink.
• Participate in budgeting discussions and strategy communications.
• Coordinate with union reps if applicable and with store leadership.
• Communicate essential information to staff for effective duties completion.
