Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations and drive sales at a Louisville, KY location. You will oversee a retail team, ensure exceptional guest service, and manage day-to-day store functions, promotions, and inventory control.

You will recruit and develop associates, maintain onboarding and training standards, and lead the team to meet performance targets while upholding company policies and loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and a multiunit team.
• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, and assist with gaming needs.
• Support store environment: visuals, promotions, and guest relationships to drive sales.
• Process guest purchases and returns accurately using POS with correct receipts and change.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop high-performing associates.
• Ensure onboarding and training, including policies, inventory, and loss prevention.
• Schedule staff to meet guest service goals and manage payroll/ time off.
