Job summary

GameStop in Kentucky seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will lead guest-focused selling, train staff, and ensure a clean, organized environment while driving sales and loyalty. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a passion for gaming.

The position supervises Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager and emphasizes delivering outstanding guest experiences daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and supervise store associates in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Manage daily store operations, POS processing, and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Train associates on policies, performance feedback, and onboarding.
• Support scheduling, payroll approvals, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
