Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Westminster, CA seeks a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will develop a high-performing team, coach staff, and manage staffing and inventory to meet targets while upholding safety and standards.

You will empower your team to build customer relationships, improve performance, and execute local marketing initiatives aligned with company strategy.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail store experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail management or outside sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations to achieve sales, profitability, customer service, and operational goals.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop store team members to build a high-performing team.
• Schedule employees, manage labor costs, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Coach associates on selling techniques, product knowledge, and upselling strategies.
• Partner with Sales Representatives to grow business through outreach and prospect development.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience through service standards and issue resolution.
• Manage inventory levels, product availability, ordering, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain merchandising standards, product presentation, and store organization.
• Oversee cash handling, POS processes, and daily financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Analyze sales performance and store scorecards to inform decisions.
• Develop and execute local sales and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional and operational leaders to achieve objectives.
