Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and develop a high-performing team. You will build strong customer relationships, manage inventory, and ensure top-tier service while maintaining merchandising standards and financial discipline.

You will lead staffing, coaching, and store initiatives, partnering with regional leaders to meet business goals and deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail store experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and drive sales.
• Paint, coatings, or related product knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours (minimum 45 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations to achieve sales, profitability, customer service, and operational goals.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop store team members to build a high-performing team.
• Schedule employees, manage labor costs, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Coach on selling techniques, product knowledge, and upselling strategies.
• Partner with Sales Reps and leadership to grow business through outreach and calls.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through service standards and engagement.
• Manage inventory levels, product availability, ordering, and accuracy.
• Maintain merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Oversee cash handling, POS processes, and daily financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Analyze sales performance and store scorecards to inform decisions.
• Develop and execute local sales and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to achieve objectives.
