Job summary

Walmart in the United States is seeking a store leadership role responsible for directing a facility’s operations, merchandising and strategic initiatives. You will supervise management and hourly associates, develop talent, and uphold compliance to company policies while driving sales and profitability.

The position emphasizes recruiting, training, mentoring, succession planning, and delivering strong associate engagement in a high‑volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years general management experience, including financial accountability and 4 years’ experience supervising at least 50 nonexempt and at least 5 exempt associates/employees, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and firearms training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Directs and develops the management team and hourly associates across facility operations, merchandising, and company direction.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, analyzes reports, and drives asset protection and safety controls.
• Drives sales and profit by planning budgets, forecasting economic trends, and leading teams through performance management and development.
