Total Wine & More in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing team and enhance customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment. You will drive sales, oversee operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink, and mentor staff to deliver best-in-class service while maintaining compliance with alcohol regulations.

You will report to the Store Manager and help expand our customer base and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role in retail.
• Experience leading and developing a sales-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Recruit, train, and lead store team, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Oversee payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving customer issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
