Job summary

Lids Sports Group seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Fort Myers to drive sales, lead a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional customer service. You’ll manage daily store operations, training, and compliance with company policies while upholding brand standards and inventory control.

Responsibilities include staffing, coaching, cash handling, and implementing visual merchandising strategies to maximize performance and customer satisfaction. This role reports to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling, customer issues, and Store Manager absence.
• Lead and develop store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Discipline processes including verbal and written warnings when needed.
• Foster an engaging, respectful, and inclusive team environment aligned with brand standards.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and peak periods in coordination with the Store Manager.
• Support recruiting and training of store personnel; ensure policy compliance.
• Protect company assets and ensure proper cash handling and inventory controls.
• Execute merchandising, VM, and pricing changes to support sales strategy.
