Job summary

Everything But Water in Westport, CT is seeking a Store Manager to lead a customer-centric team and drive sales. You will oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, inventory, and visual presentation while maintaining brand standards and exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in retail sales and 3–5 years in retail management, with open availability, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to coach Associates across all levels.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in retail sales.
• 3-5 years in retail management.
• Open availability to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective customer engagement skills.
• Basic merchandising and visual skills.
• High level interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and expenses to optimize results.
• Maintain staffing levels consistent with business needs to ensure excellent customer service.
• Ensure adequate shift coverage and scheduling to business needs including covering shifts if scheduled Associate is unable to work.
• Provide ongoing and timely feedback to Associates to establish accountability.
• Develop management team.
• Maintain brand standards around cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation standards.
• Support a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and open communication.
• Demonstrate clear understanding of sales goals and align behaviors accordingly.
