Job summary

Victra is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. We seek an Assistant General Manager to lead a store team, coach sales specialists, and create outstanding customer experiences across our wireless offerings.

You will drive daily operations, mentor staff, and translate goals into actionable plans for each shift, while upholding Victra standards of performance, collaboration, integrity and innovation.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service within retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Able to balance multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team.
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Take part in interviewing and hiring decisions for your store and develop the team.
• Provide training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience and manage customer flow.
• Identify selling skill gaps and build development plans to meet sales metrics and quotas.
• Own your own sales performance and lead the store’s numbers.
• Adapt to day-to-day operations and deliver commitments under pressure.
• Keep score daily and coach in the moment using a performance scorecard.
• Run store operations including staffing, finance data, cash handling, and compliance.
• Complete store opening and closing activities.
• Share accountability for attaining store targets daily/weekly/monthly.
• Model Victra greeting and coach the team to greet every guest.
