Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations in Oklahoma. You will recruit and develop staff, manage inventories, and uphold company policies while driving sales and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience managing store employees under federal and state labor laws.
• Strong cash handling and deposit control knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and Company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps for solutions and counseling up to termination.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings and events to ensure safety and policies.
• Ensures the store is opened and closed regularly; maintains staffing levels.
• Evaluates operating statements to identify sales trends and expense opportunities.
