Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a proactive Assistant Store Manager to collaborate with the Store Manager in driving exceptional customer service, merchandising standards, and store operations. You will lead by example on the sales floor, coach partners, and help meet store sales goals while fostering a positive team environment.

The role supports local community outreach, loyalty program activation, and adherence to company policies. Availability for varied shifts and travel to nearby stores is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service and selling culture and exceed customer expectations.
• Coach and develop associates, provide feedback and recognition, and maintain presence on the sales floor during peak times.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on scheduling, training, and policy updates to improve store performance.
• Assist in interviewing and hiring for the store team and communicate with district and support center partners.
• Plan and execute volume-driving events and community outreach.
• Drive loyalty engagement through the B Rewarded Loyalty Programs and achieve team goals.
