Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in San Francisco, CA to lead daily retail operations, coach a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. This role requires strong leadership, operations oversight, and the ability to drive sales while maintaining brand standards.

You will partner with the Store Manager to execute merchandising plans, manage staff, and uphold policies. The position offers career growth, training programs, and opportunities for early wage access

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and regular follow-up when Store Manager is not present.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline to include verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a productive environment and ensuring alignment with company objectives and store success.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with company policies, safeguarding of inventory, funds and property; maintain store equipment and cleanliness.
