Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead one of our retail locations. You will drive sales, coach team members, and ensure top-tier customer service while maintaining brand standards and store presentation.

As a manager on duty, you will handle scheduling, training, and policy adherence, ensuring a safe and productive store environment. This role reports to the Store Manager and requires strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for employee scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead and supervise store associates through training programs and goal setting; follow up in the manager's absence.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings as needed.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment aligned with brand standards.
• Manage scheduling and staffing, including calling in associates during peak periods.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure policy compliance and safekeeping of inventory and cash.
• Support in international product presentation and daily store operations.
