Job summary

Music & Arts in Maryland seeks a Store Lead who blends local sales excellence with instructional leadership. You will personally meet sales goals while guiding all teachers at the location, balancing customer service with program quality and student outcomes.

Partnering with the Area Manager, you will drive enrollment, retention, and lesson KPIs, coordinate staff schedules, and ensure policy adherence. This role offers $16–$18 per hour, robust benefits, and a vibrant community of learners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of musical instruments and written music.
• Proven experience leading teams, preferably in education, retail, or customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Passion for music education and commitment to student and teacher success.

Responsibilities

• Consistently generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
• Promote the lesson program to drive enrollment.
• Lead and engage all teachers assigned to the location.
• Partner with Area Manager to drive student enrollment and retention.
• Monitor key lessons KPIs and implement action plans to meet targets.
• Oversee store operations, merchandising, and security.
