Job summary

The Children’s Place Inc. in Lakeland, FL is seeking a part-time Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team. The role covers cash-wrap, opening/closing, and acting as Leader on Duty, ensuring brand standards and delivering exceptional customer service on the sales floor.

You will train and coach associates, help schedule and payrolls, and collaborate with management to boost store performance while maintaining a safe, organized environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through training of associates, including giving in-the-moment coaching conversations.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in all company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide direct, timely feedback.
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) program to drive store profitability and payroll.
• Process payroll weekly and modify schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and uphold CRE standards and safety.
