Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker with leadership responsibilities when management is absent. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, implement plan-o-grams, and provide exemplary customer service to maximize profitability and drive customer satisfaction.

The role includes operating the cash register, handling payments, and supporting a safe, clean store environment. Prior supervisory experience or training is preferred, with attention to loss prevention and team cooperation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience (or related training) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise following store processes.
• Operate cash register and process payments, bag purchases and provide customer service.
• Maintain plan-o-grams and merchandise displays; keep store clean and orderly.
• Assist in maintaining cashier accountability and security practices.
• Open/close the store under direction of Area Manager and handle refunds/overrides when needed.
