Job summary

Responsibilities include leading service at the checkout, maintaining planograms, stocking, and ensuring safety and accuracy in transactions. The role requires flexibility to cover shifts and open/close duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash handling and deposit controls.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise and set up displays; follow planograms and rotate stock.
• Keep the store clean and organized; manage trash and cleaning duties.
• Open and close the store under Store Manager direction; support in absence of managers.
• Perform duties of Sales Associate and assist in other managerial tasks as needed.
