Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Strong math skills for basic calculations and percentages.
• Experience with cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
• Willingness to drive to the bank for deposits.
• Awareness of safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise, and assist customers.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build displays per planograms.
• Clean the store, take out trash, mop floors, clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
