Dollar General in Erie, PA is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help run a clean, customer-focused store. You will assist customers in locating merchandise, operate the cash register, stock and display products, and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise in the absence of managers. A high school diploma and some supervisory experience are preferred; willingness to lift up to 40 pounds and

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow planograms.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment and make change.
• Stock merchandise; stock and rotate merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform additional duties typically performed by the Store Manager in their absence.
