Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. is seeking Lead Associates to provide store leadership in Winston-Salem in the absence of the Store Manager. You will demonstrate a commitment to friendly customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Lead Associates handle closing duties, cash handling, and various store operations. Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior lead or supervisory experience, with store hours Monday–Saturday 10am–8pm

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• Stores should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations (may lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; 10–35 pounds frequently).
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production setting.
