Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant to the Manager. You will demonstrate commitment to friendly customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include closing tasks, cash handling, record-keeping, receiving and pricing donations, and textile tagging. A High School Diploma or equivalent and supervisory experience are preferred, with flexible hours

Qualifications

• Lead Associates responsible for store leadership in absence of Store Manager/Assistant to the Manager.
• Candidates should have lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conducts inspections when necessary
• Cash register/customer service
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting
