Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager and to deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include closing the store, handling cash, preparing daily sales reports, receiving and pricing donations, and tagging textiles and clothing. Education required is a high school diploma or equivalent, with lead/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.
