Job summary

ALDI is seeking a Lead Store Associate in Bradenton, FL. This keyholder role opens and closes the store in the absence of management, guiding associates, stockers, and cashiers to uphold store standards and deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

The position offers 38 hours per week full-time, starting at $21.50 per hour with planned increases over the coming years. A high school diploma and prior retail experience are preferred, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop rapport and open communication to enhance team performance.
• Ability to lead store personnel and achieve planned results.
• Ability to understand Standard Operating Procedures and policies to maintain compliance.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, and computers.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the appropriate resolution of employee and customer concerns, aligning with store management as needed.
• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to store personnel in the absence of store management to ensure desired results.
• Leads, develops, and supervises the team to drive sales and achieve high performance.
• Ensures proper use of the POS system and accurate processing of customer purchases.
• Performs opening and closing duties in the absence of store management.
