Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Lead Store Associate to serve as a keyholder, opening and closing the store in the absence of store management. You will guide associates, stockers and cashiers through opening and closing duties, helping to maintain store standards and ensuring an excellent customer shopping experience.

The role also involves supervising the team, driving sales, and ensuring policy compliance while maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and management preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop a team and communicate effectively.
• Ability to operate cash registers and store equipment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management.
• Direct associates, stockers, and cashiers to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with implementing action plans to improve results.
• Maintain merchandising standards and curbside pickup processes.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and loss prevention.
