Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager to help lead the loudest store in the mall. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and development, while delivering an engaging in-store experience for customers.

You’ll drive sales through promotions, social engagement, and outstanding customer service, mentor your team, monitor shrink and payroll, and collaborate with retail leadership to implement trends and share feedback.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• Strong communication, recruiting, and leadership skills.
• Experience with payroll, reporting, scheduling, and merchandising.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager to meet sales plan and targets.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative team.
• Promote products and engage customers through promotions and social channels.
• Lead operations with a focus on cost controls, scheduling, and shrink prevention.
