Hot Topic is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager to help lead the loudest store in the mall. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a high-energy team that delivers an exceptional in-store experience for customers and employees.

You'll drive merchandise promotions, manage operations, and use data to guide strategy while building lifelong relationships with customers. If you love music, pop culture, and teamwork, this role is for you.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail store management experience.
• Strong communication, recruiting, operations, and staff development skills.
• Leadership abilities and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving sales plan and comp goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative team.
• Promote products via promotions, social platforms, and BOPIS/curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership to run an operationally sound business.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy to hit targets.
• Merchandise the store per planograms and launch promos on time.
• Develop a high-performing, customer-focused team with the Store Manager.
