Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager to help lead the loudest store in the mall and to support the Store Manager in reaching sales targets, recruiting, and developing a strong team.

You’ll drive customer engagement, promotions, and a best-in-class in-store experience for both customers and employees. You’ll balance operations with a customer-first selling approach, manage schedules, and monitor shrink while collaborating with HQ on trends and feedback to continually improve

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• Strong communication and recruiting skills.
• Ability to lead a team and drive sales.
• Ability to manage payroll, scheduling and merchandising.
• High school diploma or GED required; degree considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales plans and goals.
• Recruit, develop and retain a collaborative team to run the store.
• Promote products and engage customers through promotions and social platforms.
• Lead store operations with a balance of delegation and customer-first selling.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy.
