Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager to help lead the in-store experience in a high-energy mall environment. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a passionate team that delivers excellent customer service.

You’ll promote new products, leverage social media, and implement promotions while ensuring store operations, scheduling, and shrink prevention are kept tight. A strong focus on coaching and teamwork will be essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• Strong communication, recruiting, operations, merchandising and scheduling skills.
• Ability to develop and coach a team to deliver sales and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving sales plans and comp goals.
• Recruit, develop and retain a collaborative team.
• Promote new products and drive customer engagement via social channels and in-store promotions.
• Maintain operational standards, payroll hours, and associate scheduling.
• Analyze sales data and run reports to guide strategy.
• Merchandise the store using planograms and execute promos on time.
