Shoe Carnival, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations and lead the team in a fun, customer-first environment. In this full-time role, you will act as a key holder, support the General Manager, and model hands-on leadership.

You will develop associates, manage shifts, and contribute to sales goals while ensuring excellent service and loss-prevention standards are followed. This is a hands-on path to store management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
• Able to obtain Key Carrier Certification within 60 days.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old due to keyholder responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as a key holder
• Support the General Manager in reaching sales goals
• Lead customer service efforts and resolve issues professionally
• Train and guide associates on processes and standards
• Delegate daily tasks and coordinate breaks
• Assist with visual merchandising and store presentation
• Perform register overrides, safe/till counts, and cash reconciliation
• Follow and promote loss prevention procedures
