The Store Lead will oversee inventory control, merchandising, budgeting, and safety compliance, coordinating with guest services and management to ensure smooth operations and high guest

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or related field experience preferred.
• Conversant in English.
• Strong decision-making and problem solving.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation.
• Ability to motivate, lead and develop staff.
• Budget awareness and inventory control experience.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Design creative displays and adjust according to sales, season and product.
• Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising reports, determining promotions, authorizing clearance sales and studying trends.
• Assess and maintain proper inventory levels and turnover rate through an inventory control system.
• Prepare reports related to procedures, efficiency and sales.
• Implement purchasing plans and communicate with vendors and shippers.
• Attend industry shows and purchase products under management direction.
• Perform inventory audits according to property timelines.
• Build relationships with vendors and report on buying trends and customer demands.
• Coordinate building of displays and inventory control with guest services team.
• Provide training to guest services team as needed.
• Understand functions of the front desk computer inventory system.
• Monitor and implement the department safety program per leadership.
