Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to run a store under the guidance of the General Manager. This role focuses on operational excellence, training staff on recipes and safety, managing inventory and striving for excellent guest experiences.

The position requires leadership, strong customer service, and the ability to control costs while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High-volume restaurant leadership experience required.
• Proven ability to manage COGS and labor.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, meeting quality, service and atmosphere goals.
• Train shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, food safety and safety practices.
• Assist GM in executing restaurant business plan and optimizing P&L impact.
• Ensure Fan service standards are met and handle customer concerns effectively.
• Help hire, train and coach team members; develop staffing for daily needs.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation and security practices.
