Job summary

Boot Barn in Queen Creek, AZ seeks an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, service, and store operations in line with Boot Barn values. You will coach associates, plan schedules, manage inventory, and lead local events and loyalty programs to strengthen community ties.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a customer-centric approach with a focus on achieving store goals and creating a welcoming shopping experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed customer expectations.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Develop training plans to improve store performance across operations and merchandising.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to plan schedules, hires, and policy communication.
• Plan and execute local community events and loyalty initiatives.
• Maintain stock levels, presentations, and adherence to visual guidelines.
