Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to act as a front-line brand ambassador across its Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store family of brands. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, regulatory compliance, and daily leadership in-store operations.

The position supports mission and values while ensuring accurate transactions, proper cash handling, and adherence to company policies. Travel within the district may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation; valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, DDO, and corporate office if unable to resolve with the customer.
• Answer telephone inquiries in response to general questions, applications, requests, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally and accurately to customers, explaining possible solutions and ensuring they feel supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits as needed.
• Balance batches with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Process all transactions accurately per company policy, including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Complete compliance trainings and timely adherence to company policies.
