Job summary

You will also help manage inventory, vendor deliveries, pricing, displays, and back-end operations while maintaining a clean, compliant store environment.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to registers.
• Ensure a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Greet customers and assist with products and services; resolve issues and answer questions.
• Model customer service best practices for the team and maintain Walgreens service traits.
• Manage store keys and open/close without management when needed.
• Assist with vendor orders, backdoor access for deliveries, and review order exceptions.
• Register all sales, document scanning errors, price verifications, voids, and items not on file.
• Assist with displays, pricing changes, and merchandising resets.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stockroom organization; manage on-hand counts.
• Support with pricing tasks and signage; ensure regulatory compliance and timely updates.
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including cash reports and ledgers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and arrange repairs as needed in manager's absence.
• Assist with food item separation and stock rotation; adhere to FIFO.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment; assist at Pharmacy out window as requested.
• Ensure compliance with state/local laws on regulated products.
• Bag checks for team members and adherence to policies; handle special assignments as needed.
• Attend training and complete PPLs as requested.
• Communicate tasks between management and team in the absence of store management.
• Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
