Job summary

Albertsons Companies seeks a Person In Charge (PIC) to lead the front end in the absence of store management, ensuring high customer service and store profitability. The PIC supervises staff, handles emergencies, and may serve as cashier-checker, performing basic office tasks and assisting in multiple departments.

The role requires strong customer service skills, ability to work independently, and knowledge of store operations. Night shifts and supervisory responsibilities are involved.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service as defined by the employer within policy.
• Handle emergencies, complaints, accidents, and supervise staff.
• Maintain familiarity with company policies and procedures.
• Supervise sales floor for service and replenishment of products.
• Assist cashiers with computer, register, and scanner issues.
• Operate cash register and total customers' final bill; give correct change.
