Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC is seeking a part-time retail associate in Mount Pleasant, NC. You will greet customers, help them find merchandise, and complete sales at the register with accuracy. You will also assist with stock, inventory, deliveries, and store upkeep to ensure a positive shopping experience.

You may be asked to open/close the store, supervise cash handling, and support the Store Manager in daily activities while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and location.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Assist Store Manager with daily activities and store operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and support deliveries/replenishment.
• Open or close the store in absence of Store Manager/ASM.
• Keep store clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Protect assets and support loss prevention.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist with record keeping and cash handling as needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
