Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to create a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, protect cash, and keep the store stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment for customers and team members. Part-time position with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills expected.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; replenish stock.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with staff and customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
