Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to lead in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager and to provide exemplary customer service while ensuring profitability and loss prevention. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, pricing, and assisting shoppers in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will also help with plan-o-gram implementation, cashier duties, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including accountability and deposits.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety policies and practices.

• Unload trucks and process received goods as directed.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Order zones and drop shipments per procedures.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Help customers locate merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety (dust, mop, trash, restrooms).
• Greet customers; assist at registers; bag merchandise; handle payments.
