Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a capable Cashier and Stocker to lead in the absence of the Store Manager. You will help with plan-o-grams, assist customers, and perform checkout duties to maximize profitability and service.

Dollar General will provide opportunities in a fast-paced retail environment. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking shelves, maintaining displays, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related training) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Stock merchandise and build displays.
• Assist customers locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Open/close the store as directed by the Area Manager.
• Authorize refunds and manage cashier accountability when supervisor absent.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
