Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Covington, GA to maintain a clean, customer-first store environment. You will assist customers, operate the register, stock and display merchandise, and perform duties in the absence of Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Retail customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, give change, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, and build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop floors; clean restrooms and stockrooms; assist with sidewalk displays.
